Focusing on Independence
OPTIONS Self-Directed support services was created over 25 years ago. This program currently provides fiscal intermediary services to over 1000 individuals.
This program is designed to create and increase the independence of people with Intellectual and Developmental and/or other disabilities. Options participants control all resources at their disposal such as plan development, funds allocation, hiring staff of your choice, scheduling and supervision.
The majority of Options participants have supplemental funding sources- i.e., Medicaid, State; however, this program is also available as a private pay or fee-for-service basis.
Licensed by the RI Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH) and the RI Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS).
