Giving Opportunities
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency, the Fogarty Center utilizes Federal and State funds through Medicaid and Social Security for operational expenses.
The Fogarty Center has hosted a variety of fund-raising events to secure funding for adaptive devices, medical supplies, and community activities. We are grateful for the generous donations provided to us by our business associates, vendors, employees, and friends and family members.
100% of these donations go the people we provide services to. They are not used for any administrative or personnel costs. Donations have provided people with non-Medicaid reimbursable items such as adaptive footwear, hearing aids, dietary supplements, technical assistance, camperships, art/cooking/music classes, college scholarships, and a multitude of community activities.
There are a variety of ways you can donate to The Fogarty Center. You can sign up through the United Way and designate the Fogarty Center as the recipient. We can receive stocks, or you can directly send us a check or money order. As of tax-exempt agency, these donations are tax deductible.
